TESTIMONIAL FROM A RECYCLED SOUND CLIENT

Kim

This lady had to wait 9 months until our clinic was finally set up.  There was nowhere else for her to go;.  Her hearing had reduced since childhood.

Once attending our clinic her loss of hearing had been addressed. She was so excited to be able to hear.  She commented that she was now able to hear her university lecturers which made her life so much better.  After fitting her with the hearing aids and on her review visit, Kim commented that she had to repeatedly tell her parents and family not to yell at her any more.  She could now hear them.

THIS IS AN UPDATE KIM GAVE US BY POSTING THE FOLLOWING ON OUR FACEBOOK.

Hello to all you amazing human beings at Recycled Sound.

I wanted to check in and see how you are all coping with the pandemic.  Are all of you doing well?  My hearing aids I received through your organisation have been so very helpful.  They’ve slightly improved my trips to the cinema, they’ve immediately improved my ability to understand my work colleagues, they saw me through my university course and graduation ceremony so I could hear my name when called to collect my testamur.  Thank you all for being a large part of my hearing loss journey.

Since I saw you last I’ve unfortunately lost another 10db bilaterally.  I may need to consider an upgrade if I lose any more.  Thank you a million times over.  Your collective effort and immense kindness has lead to me being able experience more of the hearing world, such as hearing leaves in the trees rustling for the first time.  Thank you doesn’t seem to be enough.  I’d  not have been able to afford hearing aids without your amazing, wonderful organisation with all of the brilliant staff that provide care and expertise to assist myself and others with hearing challenges.  We have spoken with Kim and she does not need to upgrade her hearing aids.  They can be reprogrammed to her new hearing test which we  are more than willing to do..
